Holiday Taxis – Shared Transfer Booking Ts and Cs
When booking shared airport transfers customers should always read the companies terms and conditions first. To save you time we read through and have summarised here what we consider the most important aspects to consider before booking.
Per person baggage allowance
Standard luggage allowance is one suitcase and one piece of hand luggage.
Adults and children receive the same luggage allowance
If excess luggage is to be transferred, Holiday Taxis should be informed of this at the time of booking so that a suitable transfer can be provided. If Holiday Taxis are not informed then extra charges may be incurred.
Pushchairs and sports equipment are allowed but are classed as excess luggage. Therefore Holiday Taxis ask that they are informed about any pushchairs or sports equipment that is to be transferred. Again extra charges may be incurred if Holiday Taxis are not informed.
Passengers with disabilities
Holiday Taxis provide transfers with wheelchair access but request that they be informed if the wheelchair is collapsible, so that they make sure that that the correct vehicle is booked?
Holiday Taxis do not mention what types of transfer are suitable for disabled passengers.
Airport waiting after time flight lands
Holiday Taxis give no indication of how clients may have to wait for their booked transfer after flight has arrived.
Holiday Taxis state in their terms and conditions that although the supplier they will use will endeavour to be on time, there is no guarantee of this and that neither Holiday Taxis nor their supplier can be held accountable.
All bookings must be confirmed with the local supplier of clients transfer 48 hours before scheduled transfer.
Failure to confirm the transfer with the local supplier may result in the transfer not being there and no blame can be placed upon either Holiday Taxis or the supplier.
Flight delays
Holiday Taxis state that their local suppliers monitor all flight times and should the client’s flight be delayed the transfer will be automatically amended and will collect the client at the new arrival time.
It is not mentioned on the Holday Taxis website whether this applies to both shared and private transfers.
