Transfer Store – Shared Transfer Booking Ts and Cs
When booking shared airport transfers customers should always read the companies terms and conditions first. To save you time we read through and have summarised here what we consider the most important aspects to consider before booking.
Per person baggage allowance
Transfer Store do not mention what their standard luggage allowance is or whether this applies to both adults and children.
If excess luggage is being taken, Transfer Store ask that this is noted in the additional information field. This applies to both pushchairs and sports equipment but there is no mention of potential extra costs that may be incurred.
Passengers with disabilities
Transfer Store state that disabled passengers should note in their additional information field any information that is necessary. There is no mention of potential extra costs or what transfers are suitable for disabled passengers.
Airport waiting time after flight lands
Transfer Store fail to mention how long clients may have to wait for transfers after arrival at the airport.
Transfer Store do state the driver should be holding a sign at the airport with the guests name on it and if the driver is not there then the emergency number on the accommodation voucher should be called.
Flight delays
On Transfer Store frequently asked questions page they state that the local transfer agent will monitor flight times and will arrive at the correct time tin the event of a delay.
However, on the Transfer Store terms and conditions page they state that although they will endeavour to make sure that the clients transfer service is provided, it is ultimately the clients’ responsibility to inform Transfer Store or the transfer provider of the delay and if this is not done then they accept no liability should a transfer be missed due to a delay.
